PURPOSE and BIO
HAVE YOU EVER ASKED YOURSELF WHY A SCHOOL OR DISTRICT OR INDIVIDUAL MADE THE DECISION THEY DID REGARDING YOUR  CHILD OR THEIR EDUCATION?
Transparency is a buzzword popular today because the what, when, where, why and how are not always given.  School districts have become guarded and the information that has parceled out is often times unfulfilling to some in the community. In many cases, the public is left to assume the worst. My hope, since I am no longer affiliated with any school district, I might be able to satisfy you somewhat or at the very least. provide you with some answers you have wondered about. I look forward in helping you find answers.
IT IS MY INTENTION THAT INFORMATION I PROVIDE WOULD BENEFIT STUDENTS, PARENTS, TEACHERS AND ANYONE INTERESTED IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM.
I have worked as a classroom teacher for 20 years and spent the last 17 years serving in the role of Assistant Principal and Principal of a middle school in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. During that time I coached student-athletes from the varsity level at the high school to first time participants in the middle school. I have organized clubs, sponsored activities and ran before and after school programs.
I am a strong believer in strength-based organizations that develop team structures to help define and achieve their goals. 
I value a positive approach to leadership where all members are empowered to make decisions in regard to furthering the organization. It is essential to cultivate an environment where not only communication and developing strong and healthy relationships is encouraged but providing something safe and risk free is inherent throughout.
